By virtue of a judicial order and as a result of an operation in San Bernardo neighborhood in Bogotá, three men were arrested and will be tried before a supervisory judge for the crimes of torture and aggravated homicide for the facts that took place on November 30, 2020.

The Office of the Attorney General established that the minor left her home located in the Prado Veraniego neighborhood, she took a bus to San Bernardo neighborhood located in La Candelaria, Bogotá, where the head of a criminal group allegedly ordered other people to mug the minor. She was allegedly attacked and beaten.

Likewise, it was established that the victim was wounded on multiple occasions with a bladed weapon and when the attackers thought she was dead, they put her corpse inside black bags and they allegedly threw it from a third floor onto a neighboring house in process of demolition.

The investigators determined that after the attack, the men took a recycling cart and moved her body four blocks away from the place where the facts took place. There, they covered the bags with blankets, around 11 pm.

The body of the minor was found on December 1, 2020 and transferred to the Legal Medicine Institute, where she was registered as NN, since she did not have an identity card to verify her fingerprints.

On the other hand, it was known that the victim had mild mental retardation and psychological and behavioral problems.
