In 48 hours, the Office of the Attorney General charged and brought to justice the alleged members of organizations linked to crimes that took place in Valle del Cauca, Antioquia, and Caquetá.

As part of the strategy established by the Office of the Attorney General of providing  access  to  justice  in  territories  and prioritizing cases that affect communities in the regions, the Special Investigation Unit launched a judicial event (a day) to clarify several crimes against human rights defenders, and prosecute those people responsible.

The proceedings were carried out in municipalities of the Departments of Valle del Cauca, Antioquia and Caquetá for two days and thanks to the evidence obtained by prosecutors, CTI and National Police, several members of the criminal structures such as the so-called ‘Clan del Golfo’ and residual groups were charged.
