Inquiries are related to the governors of Arauca, Magdalena, Vichada and San Andrés; as well as the minister of agriculture and other public servants. 

As a consequence of the pandemic caused by Covid-19, a strategy for surveillance and control named “Transparency for the Emergency”, was designed by the anti-corruption bloc composed of the Office of the Attorney General, the Office of the Inspector General and the Office of the Comptroller General to work together in a timely manner, to join capacities to guarantee the optimal administration of resources allocated for the assistance to Colombian citizens and to control the spread of the coronavirus. 

The Office of the Attorney General  has assigned for this work, 9 special and local prosecutors who have gathered evidence and requested information from 1,005 municipalities in the country, 5 special districts and 6 national institutions with the support of 16 assistant prosecutors and 80 CTI investigators in order to verify 31,938 contracts signed during the sanitary emergency.

So far, 909 contracts have been reviewed and they amount to COP 667 billion.
