“It is unacceptable that rights of women, children and teenagers are violated, not only at home, but also in public places like Transmilenio. We must ensure that human rights are protected and that they are the main focus of the public policy of the city”, stated Attorney General.
“The message to citizenship is that they can remain calm and they must know that we are working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with a significant effort of public servants who believe in public service and who are fully supported by the Attorney General, as well as by all Colombian citizens”, he concluded.
This is the fourth visit of the Attorney General as part of his strategy ‘la Fiscalía General de la Nación en la calle y en los territorios’. He has visited the Sectional Offices of Risaralda, Cauca, Guainía-Vaupés and Bogotá.
