Regarding protests that have taken place in the country since November 21st, 172 people have been arrested in flagrante for different offenses. This information is based on judicial police reports received by the Office of the Attorney General.
The crimes for which investigations have been opened are mostly: damage to someone else´s property, aggravated since it was materialized in public goods; violence against public servants, obstruction of public roads affecting order, disturbance in public or collective public transport service, and theft.
101 arrests were legalized, 11 people received a custodial sentence (6 in prison and 5 house arrest). The remaining individuals are linked to the investigations, their proceedings continue and the judicial police is still collecting evidence.
