Mayor of the municipality of Puerto Gaitán and other 4 individuals will answer for criminal conspiracy and criminal gangs financing

The current mayor of Puerto Gaitán (Meta), José Alexander Fierro Guayara, was charged by the National Specialized Prosecutor’s Office against criminal organizations of Villavicencio (Meta) for the alleged commission of criminal conspiracy to commit crimes and criminal gangs financing.

The decisión included Luis Alberto Bohórquez Prada, Rubén Darío González García, Fernando Villalobos Rodríguez and José Damián Londoño Ávila. The proceeding  was carried out before the 6^th Municipal Criminal Court  (control de garantías) in Villavicencio. The accused did not plead guilty to the charges.
