Attorney General, Néstor Humberto Martínez Neira, requested to include Fifa case and its implications in Colombia in the bilateral agenda   

Attorney General Martinez thanked the assistance provided by the United States Department of Justice in regard to the initiative launched by the Office of the Attorney General in Colombia to investigate former prosecutor Luis Gustavo Moreno and former Justices of the Supreme Court, among others, at the meeting which took place in Puebla (Mexico) with the Acting Assistant Attorney General in the United States, Kenneth Blanco.

Both nations ratified their commitment to fighting against corruption and other main themes of bilateral justice and confirmed the importance of doing the follow-up of the agenda established for a joint cooperation. The Attorney General of Colombia took this opportunity to include Fifa case and its implications in Colombia.

In order to do a follow-up of the cooperation agenda, it has been proposed to hold a summit in Cartagena (Bolivar) this semester counting on the participation of Attorney General of the United States, Jeff Sessions.
