The 3rd Municipal Court in Apartadó – Antioquia (Guarantee Court) issued  preventive detention orders with home confinement against 5 alleged women for their alleged role in corruption acts which caused a detriment of property over 320 million pesos to the Colombian Family Welfare Institute in Urabá (Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar – ICBF) in that municipality.

This decision concerns Osdoly Pulgarín Rueda, former manager of ICBF in Urabá; Luz Estela Muñoz Agudelo, ICBF’s employee; contractors Denis González Negrete, Katherine Keila Altube and Judith Morelo Padilla, who were charged with embezzlement and document tampering.

Arrests were conducted in the city of Medellin and municipalities of Turbo and Apartadó by the Criminal Investigation Team (CTI) in Antioquia supported by the XVII Army Brigade.
