Stepfather and stepmother of a minor who was murdered in Armero- Guayabal (Tolima) were sent to prison

Facts took place on April 21 in a rural settlement named La Joya (Tolima)

At the request of the Office of the Attorney General, the 5^th Criminal Court with guarantee functions (“control de garantias”) in Ibagué (Tolima) issue a preventive detention order with imprisonment for Johana Guerra Urueña and  Edilberto Rojas Torres who are the victim´s stepmother and stepfather.

The three year old victim was under the care of these two people in a kind of supportive custody (custodia solidaria in Spanish). However, during the investigation it was demonstrated that they committed reiterated sexual and physical violence against minor.
