As a result of an Operation against organized crime, the Office of the Attorney General and National Police arrested more than 100 people

One hundred and nine alleged members of criminal organizations such as: “Clan del Golfo”, “Cordillera”, “Puntilleros” and collection offices, were arrested during the so called “Némesis Operation” which was conducted by the Attorney General’s Office and the National Police.

Proceedings that were conducted in the Departments of Bolivar, Antioquia, Cesar, Risaralda, Valle del Cauca, Meta, Chocó, Urabá and Magdalena Medio, allowed the arrest of 84 members from “Clan del Golfo”, 2 from “Puntilleros”, 12 from “Cordillera”, and 11 from collection offices.
