An accusation against Byron Carvajal for the murder of a protected person is ratified

The 8^th Delegate Prosecutor´s Office before the Supreme Court in Cali ratified  the accusation against Byron Gabriel Carvajal Osorio for the murder of a protected person, an alleged member of ELN*, on August 31, 2005 in Jamundí (Valle del Cauca ).

According to the investigation, Carvajal Osorio, former commander of Batallón de Alta Montaña, during a joint operation with Gaula (Army) killed the ELN militiaman Leonardo Fabio Ordóñez Holguín, alias Leo.  The incident occurred in the area of ​​Alfaguara in Jamundí – Cali (Valle del Cauca) road.
