The Colombia Attorney General urge to Senior Judges of the Judicial Chamber for Criminal Cases of the Supreme Court of Justice not to denounce journalists

The Attorney General, Eduardo Montealegre Lynett, respecfully urged to Senior Judges of  the Judicial Chamber for Criminal Cases of the Supreme Court of Justice to reconsider their decision about calumny and slander against  journalists María Jimena Duzán and Cecilia Orozco Tascón.

The Attorney General  proposal arose from the discussion due to columns opinion where journalists Duzán and Orozco formulated criticism about recently decisions in the Judicial Chamber for Criminal Cases.

“I gladly offer to Senior Judges and journalists the Attorney General Office as a scenario to develop constructive dialogue about the situation”. The Attorney General held.
