The Office of the Attorney General, through the\u00a0branch office in\u00a0Sucre\u00a0(Seccional\u00a0Sucre), prosecuted\u00a0<\/span>Fabi\u00e1n Molina\u00a0Donneys\u00a0and Erial Patricia Trejos Ospina for their alleged responsibility in the crime of aggravated extortion. They did not plead guilty.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the investigation, the defendants allegedly withdrew\u00a0severals\u00a0sums of money,\u00a0allegedly\u00a0linked to extortions carried out from\u00a0different parts\u00a0of the country.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0defendants\u00a0allegedly impersonated\u00a0members of criminal organizations\u00a0operating\u00a0in Sucre. It is\u00a0believed that\u00a0they used phone numbers\u00a0of\u00a0a\u00a0call center in Cali (Valle)\u00a0to commit offenses. The victims were\u00a0allegedly extorted\u00a0in Sincelejo.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Both\u00a0people\u00a0were\u00a0arrested by\u00a0Gaula –\u00a0National Police\u00a0on February 21 in Cali.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A judge imposed a\u00a0prison sentence.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
