The evidence collected by the Office of the Attorney General led\u00a0the\u00a055-year-old man to accept, through a plea agreement, his responsibility in the crime of his sentimental\u00a0partner, that\u00a0occurred in a rural area of\u00a0Yopal\u00a0(Casanare) in September 2025.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A judge\u00a0approved the agreement\u00a0and sentenced him to 31 years and 3 months in prison for\u00a0aggravated femicide.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Office\u00a0of the Attorney General\u00a0proved that the aggressor went to the farm where his\u00a0sentimental\u00a0partner\u00a0was working and\u00a0attacked her with a\u00a0sharp object. This man entered through a window of the residence and\u00a0injured\u00a0the victim, causing several wounds that led to her death.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, the judge imposed\u00a0a secondary sentence\u00a0such as\u00a0being\u00a0<\/span>disbarred from the practice of law and public function<\/span>s<\/span>\u00a0for a period of 20 years, and the suspension of all types\u00a0of\u00a0alternative\u00a0sentences.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This ruling is of first instance, and legal\u00a0remedies\u00a0may be filed against it.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
