A prosecutor\u00a0appointed to the branch office in\u00a0Bol\u00edvar\u00a0(Seccional Bolivar)\u00a0prosecuted\u00a0Hilier Jos\u00e9 Altamiranda\u00a0Carreazo, an alleged member of Clan del Golfo. The 23\u2011year\u2011old man is\u00a0allegedly\u00a0involved\u00a0in a murder committed in Cartagena\u00a0due to\u00a0territorial control for drug trafficking.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It is believed that this individual, known within the criminal organization as\u00a0<\/span>Mai<\/span><\/i>, served as\u00a0hitman.\u00a0According to the evidence,\u00a0Altamiranda\u00a0was responsible for\u00a0the death of a 45\u2011year\u2011old man\u00a0which took place\u00a0on July 8, 2022, in La Candelaria neighborhood. The victim was shot from a motorcycle, and two other people were injured during the attack.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Altamiranda\u00a0Carreazo\u00a0was\u00a0arrested by the National Police in La Esperanza neighborhood\u00a0in\u00a0La Heroica on January 23\u00a0in compliance with a judicial order.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Office of the Attorney General charged the defendant with criminal conspiracy, aggravated homicide, attempted homicide, and manufacture, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts, or ammunition. He did not plead guilty to the charges. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the judicial decision, the\u00a0defendant will remain in\u00a0prison.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
