The Office of the Attorney General\u00a0prosecuted\u00a0Juan Manuel Giraldo Archila as the alleged\u00a0responsible for the\u00a0crimes of manufacturing, trafficking, and\u00a0possession\u00a0of firearms; and trafficking, manufacturing, or possession of narcotics.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The defendant was arrested on January 22 during home search operations carried out by National Police and Army in properties located in the neighborhoods <\/span>Prados del Este<\/span><\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>El Contento<\/span><\/i>\u00a0in C\u00facuta (Norte de Santander).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During the procedures,\u00a0the\u00a0authorities seized a revolver, cartridges of different calibers, 2,000 grams of coca base paste, 1,450 grams of\u00a0<\/span>creepy\u00a0marijuana, two cell phones, firearm scopes, a magazine, a pistol barrel, and items used for\u00a0preparing doses of\u00a0narcotic substances.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the preliminary hearing, Giraldo Archila did not\u00a0plead guilty to\u00a0the charges brought by\u00a0the\u00a0 Office\u00a0of the Attorney General, and a municipal criminal judge\u00a0imposed a preventive detention\u00a0in prison.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
