The Office\u00a0of the Attorney General\u00a0is investigating the defendant for his alleged participation in at least 12 criminal acts.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Office of the Attorney General brought Erick Santiago S\u00e1nchez Mayunga before a judge since he is an alleged member of the criminal group known as <\/span>Los\u00a0\u00c1gredo<\/span><\/i>,\u00a0a network accused of committing multiple violent robberies in Cali (Valle del Cauca).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the investigation, the defendant, along with other members of the illegal network, carried out their criminal activities in Montebello and Golondrinas sectors and other areas of the city.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Minors were allegedly used f<\/span>or the commission of\u00a0crimes\u00a0as well as\u00a0motorcycles to approach victims who were\u00a0forced to\u00a0hand over their belongings\u00a0while\u00a0intimidated with firearms.\u00a0There is\u00a0evidence\u00a0that\u00a0links the defendant and other alleged members of\u00a0<\/span>Los Agredo<\/span><\/i>\u00a0to at least 12 criminal acts.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

S\u00e1nchez\u00a0Mayunga\u00a0was\u00a0arrested on January 24 by the National Police, in compliance with a judicial order. The judge\u00a0sent the defendant to prison.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A prosecutor\u00a0appointed to the branch office in\u00a0Cali\u00a0(Seccional\u00a0Cali)\u00a0charged the defendant\u00a0with\u00a0conspiracy to commit a crime, aggravated\u00a0and qualified\u00a0robbery, and the use of minors for the commission of crimes.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For the same\u00a0facts, last December, five other alleged members of the same criminal group were prosecuted, and they are currently\u00a0in prison.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
