At the request of the Office of the Attorney General, a\u00a0supervisory\u00a0judge imposed a preventive detention measure in prison\u00a0for\u00a0Fanor Andr\u00e9s Ortiz Cruz,\u00a0who is\u00a0allegedly responsible for storing marijuana in a warehouse in Teruel (Huila).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A prosecutor\u00a0appointed\u00a0to the branch office in\u00a0Huila\u00a0(Seccional\u00a0Huila)\u00a0charged him\u00a0with trafficking, manufacturing, or possession of narcotics. The defendant did not\u00a0plead guilty to the charges.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During a search\u00a0warrant that was\u00a0carried out by members of the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI), with support from the Police and the National Army, in\u00a0La Esperanza neighborhood, this\u00a0person\u00a0was\u00a0arrested\u00a0in flagrante delicto. In addition, 50 bags\u00a0containing\u00a074 pounds of marijuana, a plastic container, a scale, and more than 37,000 doses\u00a0of\u00a0 narcotics\u00a0were seized.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the investigation, the substance was sold in small quantities for distribution by criminal groups in Teruel, Iquira, Palermo, and Yaguar\u00e1 (Huila).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
