In four independent cases, the Office of the Attorney\u00a0General prosecuted\u00a0six alleged individuals implicated in the illicit trade of marijuana and cocaine in\u00a0Guacar\u00ed,\u00a0Yotoco, and Guadalajara de Buga (Valle del Cauca).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

These are separate cases in which prosecutors\u00a0belonging to the branch office in\u00a0Valle del Cauca\u00a0(Seccional\u00a0Valle del Cauca)\u00a0charged the defendants, according to their\u00a0individual responsibilities, with trafficking, manufacturing, or possession of narcotics, and illegal possession of firearms.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Juan Manuel Llano Rend\u00f3n and Jhon\u00a0Stic\u00a0Mazuera Acevedo were prosecuted\u00a0in Buga\u00a0after being caught in\u00a0flagrante\u00a0on November 13 during a search\u00a0warrant\u00a0at a residence in La Honda neighborhood. Authorities allegedly\u00a0found\u00a0170\u00a0grams of cocaine base and 4 kilograms of marijuana\u00a0in one of the rooms, as well as ammunition and two firearms.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In\u00a0Yotoco, Roger Alejandro Sep\u00falveda\u00a0Buritic\u00e1\u00a0was prosecuted for allegedly transporting 92.5 grams of cocaine hydrochloride and 2,350 grams of marijuana in a public service vehicle. His arrest took place on November 15 on the road from Buga to Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in Ginebra, Jos\u00e9 Santiago Rend\u00f3n Saldarriaga, Andrey Felipe V\u00e1squez Saldarriaga, and Luis Miguel Estrada\u00a0Namundia\u00a0were prosecuted for drug trafficking.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The people allegedly involved must serve prison sentence and house arrest according to the judges\u2019 decision. None pleaded guilty to the charges brought by the Prosecutor\u2019s Office.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
