Six individuals allegedly involved in the storage and distribution of marijuana and cocaine hydrochloride, transported from northern Cauca, as well as other criminal activities,\u00a0were\u00a0prosecuted.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The investigation\u00a0determined\u00a0that the narcotics were later distributed and sold in\u00a0Sup\u00eda\u00a0and\u00a0Riosucio\u00a0(Caldas), in\u00a0Gu\u00e1tica\u00a0(Risaralda), and neighborhoods\u00a0such\u00a0Las Lomas and San Luis in\u00a0Rafael Uribe\u00a0Uribe\u00a0in\u00a0Bogot\u00e1.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0people allegedly involved\u00a0are:\u00a0Fernando Esteban Carvajal\u00a0Yamav, alias\u00a0<\/span>El Indio<\/span><\/i>; Jos\u00e9 Francisco Hern\u00e1ndez Reyes, alias\u00a0<\/span>Panela<\/span><\/i>; Yohan Rond\u00f3n Monroy, alias\u00a0<\/span>Samadongo<\/span><\/i>; Angi Xiomara Garz\u00f3n\u00a0Var\u00f3n;\u00a0Yerson\u00a0Andr\u00e9s Yara Garz\u00f3n; and Andrea Carolina S\u00e1nchez Giraldo.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Technical Investigation Corps (CTI), with support from the National Police and\u00a0Gaula\u00a0of\u00a0Army\u00a0arrested\u00a0the defendants during various search\u00a0warrants.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A prosecutor\u00a0appointed to the branch office in\u00a0Caldas\u00a0(Seccional\u00a0Caldas)\u00a0charged them according to their individual responsibility,\u00a0with\u00a0trafficking, manufacturing, or possession of narcotics, unlawful use of real estate, and attempted homicide.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The illicit activities were carried out\u00a0through the use of\u00a0properties for storing and preparing\u00a0dosis\u00a0of\u00a0narcotics, as well as the use of cell phones to coordinate deliveries and other criminal actions.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Moreover,\u00a0it was\u00a0established\u00a0that three of the defendants had\u00a0participated\u00a0in attacks\u00a0with firearms\u00a0against three individuals in incidents that occurred in Bogot\u00e1 during June and August of this year.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During the procedures, authorities seized 1,450 grams of cocaine hydrochloride, 2,680 grams of marijuana, a scale, and nine cell phones.\u00a0After\u00a0charges\u00a0were brought, the defendants\u00a0pleaded guilty. A\u00a0judge\u00a0imposed\u00a0prison\u00a0sentences\u00a0on\u00a0three of them and house arrest\u00a0on\u00a0the\u00a0remaining people.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
