At the request of the Office of the Attorney General, prison sentences were imposed for <\/span>Miguel \u00c1ngel Silva Arroyo,\u00a0Jeysson\u00a0Armando Plazas Castillo, and Edwin C\u00f3rdoba Cord\u00f3n, for their alleged responsibility in the murders of two men\u00a0that\u00a0took place\u00a0in separate incidents in\u00a0<\/span>Yopal\u00a0(Casanare).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Prosecutors\u00a0belonging to the branch office in\u00a0Casanare\u00a0(Seccional\u00a0Casanare)\u00a0charged them, according to their individual responsibility, with aggravated homicide and homicide. None of them\u00a0pleaded guilty to\u00a0the charges.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Attorney General\u2019s Office\u00a0established\u00a0that on November 2, Silva Arroyo and Plazas Castillo were involved in a fight with a merchant, whom they allegedly beat to death.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

These men were arrested by the National Police in Aguazul (Casanare) and Sogamoso (Boyac\u00e1).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In another incident\u00a0that took place\u00a0on June 1 in the area known as Llano Lindo, C\u00f3rdoba Cord\u00f3n\u00a0allegedly attacked a man\u00a0during a fight\u00a0multiple times with a bladed weapon, causing his death.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The National Police arrested him at El Charte toll station, on the road from Yopal to Aguazul (Casanare).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
