The Office of the Attorney General\u00a0prosecuted a woman and a man who were allegedly involved in local drug trafficking in San Juan de Nepomuceno and El Carmen de Bol\u00edvar (Bol\u00edvar).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0person involved is\u00a0<\/span>Rosiris Astrid Torres Cuesta, alias La Chiry, who <\/span>was\u00a0allegedly\u00a0selling\u00a0narcotic substances to consumers and minors in the area\u00a0from her home\u00a0located\u00a0in the La Floresta neighborhood\u00a0in\u00a0El Carmen de Bol\u00edvar.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The 59-year-old woman was\u00a0arrested\u00a0during a\u00a0home\u00a0search operation carried out by the National Police at the\u00a0place, where several doses of cocaine ready for distribution were seized.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In another incident, Arnol Isac Gamarra Fuentes, 39 years old, was\u00a0arrested during a\u00a0home\u00a0search conducted in Costa de Oro neighborhood\u00a0in\u00a0San Juan de Nepomuceno, where doses of marijuana and cocaine were found.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Prosecutors from\u00a0the branch office in\u00a0Bol\u00edvar\u00a0(Seccional\u00a0Bolivar)\u00a0charged them\u00a0with\u00a0 manufacturing, trafficking, or possession of narcotics. The defendants did not\u00a0plead guilty to the\u00a0charges and must\u00a0serve a prison sentence.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
