The Office of the Attorney General\u00a0brought\u00a0two men\u00a0before judges\u00a0who, in separate incidents, were allegedly involved in the illegal possession of firearms in Pereira (Risaralda).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

At the request of prosecutors appointed to the branch office in Risaralda (Seccional Risaralda) the defendants were sent to prison for their alleged responsibility in the crime of manufacturing, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts, or ammunition.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The first case took place on November 4, when during a home search operation that was carried out at a residence in Guayabal neighborhood in \u2018comuna\u2019 Villa Santana, a pistol with magazine and ammunition were found.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

At the scene was Sebasti\u00e1n Marulanda Quintero, alias La D,\u00a0who was arrested and prosecuted by the Attorney General\u2019s Office.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The other case took place on November 2 of this year, in\u00a0San Vicente neighborhood\u00a0in \u2018Comuna\u2019\u00a0Villa Santana, where\u00a0Yhonyhan\u00a0Anuvis\u00a0Tapasco Gonz\u00e1lez was\u00a0found\u00a0in a public area\u00a0in\u00a0possession\u00a0of\u00a0a pistol-type firearm with ammunition. According to the investigation, the weapon had been reported stolen.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
