Cristian Dar\u00edo Dorado Hern\u00e1ndez, alias\u00a0<\/span>Dorado<\/span><\/i>, is\u00a0allegedly\u00a0responsible for the\u00a0robbery\u00a0and\u00a0murder\u00a0of social leader Diego Fernando Ruiz Soto,\u00a0that took place on\u00a0March 21 in a public area of\u00a0Pradera\u00a0(Valle del Cauca).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the evidence obtained by the Office of the Attorney General, this man allegedly intercepted the victim, threatened him with a firearm into handing over his belongings, fired at him, took his motorcycle, and fled the scene.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The social leader was taken to a medical center but arrived without vital signs.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After several judicial police activities carried out to\u00a0locate\u00a0the individual involved in the armed attack, alias\u00a0<\/span>Dorado<\/span><\/i> was identified and arrested by the Technical Investigation Corps and units of the National Police in a property in Pradera.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a prosecutor appointed to the Special Investigation Unit (<\/span>Unidad Especial de Investigaci\u00f3n\u00a0<\/span>UEI) charged him with aggravated homicide; manufacture, trafficking, possession, or\u00a0possession of\u00a0firearms, accessories, parts, and ammunition; qualified and aggravated theft; and trafficking, manufacture, or possession of narcotics.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The defendant did not\u00a0plead guilty to the\u00a0charges and must\u00a0serve a prison sentence.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
