Thanks to the evidence gathered by the Office of the Attorney General,\u00a0 five individuals who were allegedly found in possession of firearms and explosives in three areas of Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca) were prosecuted.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The people involved are <\/span>J<\/span>os\u00e9 Omar Dom\u00ednguez Jaramillo, Jes\u00fas David Mart\u00ednez Valdez, Harold Arturo Z\u00fa\u00f1iga Garc\u00eda, Joan Valencia Solarte and Maicol Stiven P\u00e9rez Espinosa who <\/span>were formally charged with manufacturing, trafficking, and possession of firearms, ammunition for restricted use, items exclusively for the armed forces, or explosives.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

These individuals were arrested in flagrante delicto during operations conducted by the National Police and Navy in neighborhoods such as\u00a0Transformaci\u00f3n, Los Cristales, and Vista Hermosa.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During the operations, authorities seized three firearms, including a Mini Uzi submachine gun, ammunition, a fragmentation grenade, one bar of Pentolite explosive, one bar of Indugel explosive, ten mobile phones, and a digital scale.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During the preliminary hearings, the five defendants did not plead guilty to the charges. Consequently, a judge ordered that they must serve a sentence in prison.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
