At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge sent \u00c1ngel Miguel Guerrero Cerra to prison for being allegedly involved in the commission of qualified robbery.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The facts took place on September 20 in the so-called Centro in Barranquilla (Atl\u00e1ntico). The 33-year-old defendant allegedly used a knife to intimidate a woman who was walking along the street and, after pushing her to the ground, allegedly stole her cell phone.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The victim asked for help and she was heard by a National Police patrol passing by, that arrested the suspect in flagrante. The cell phone he had allegedly stolen before was found in his possession.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

At the preliminary hearings, Guerrero Cerra did not plead guilty to the charges\u00a0brought by a prosecutor belonging to\u00a0the Immediate Reaction Unit (<\/span>Unidad de Reacci\u00f3n Inmediata<\/span> URI)\u00a0of the branch office in Atl\u00e1ntico (Seccional Atl\u00e1ntico).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
