At the request of a prosecutor appointed to the branch office in Santander (Seccional Santander)\u00a0a judge ordered a prison sentence against David Alejandro Melo Mart\u00ednez for his alleged responsibility in the crime of aggravated homicide.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The decision is related to the facts that took place on\u00a0June 10, 2025, in the rural area known as Mira Lindo in the municipality of Land\u00e1zuri (Santander). There, the defendant, accompanied by another man, allegedly approached the 56-year-old victim who was allegedly wounded multiple times with a sharp weapon.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Melo Mart\u00ednez was arrested by the National Police on September 18<\/span>th<\/span> by virtue of a court order.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
