The Attorney General’s Office brought Jairo Gracia Ayala, 63, before justice in Sevilla (Valle del Cauca) and a local prosecutor charged him with aggravated femicide. He did not plead guilty to the charges.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The events under investigation took place on November 21, 2023, in a building at the so-called Porvenir neighborhood of Sevilla, where the defendant allegedly suffocated his sentimental partner to death.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The evidence provided by the Office of the Attorney General showed that the victim was defenseless in her bed when she was attacked.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Gracia Ayala was arrested by the National Police, who located him on a public street in the municipality of Restrepo (Valle del Cauca) on September 16th.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The defendant must serve a prison sentence by virtue of a court order.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
