Due to the evidence provided by a prosecutor appointed to the branch office in C\u00f3rdoba (Seccional C\u00f3rdoba), Deivis Javier Ruiz Romero, alias El Grande, allegedly responsible for the crimes of homicide and manufacture, trafficking, and possession of firearms or ammunition, both aggravated, was prosecuted.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the investigation, on March 18, five people, including the defendant, held a motorcycle taxi driver prisoner at his house, located in Montel\u00edbano (C\u00f3rdoba). Shortly afterward, they took him to an unknown destination.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The victim’s corpse was found on March 31st on the road from Montel\u00edbano to Puerto Libertador (C\u00f3rdoba) with signs of physical violence\u00a0and several gunshot wounds.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Apparently, Ruiz Romero was a member of Clan del Golfo and was the one who entered the man’s home to intimidate him with a firearm. For these events, \u2018El Grande\u2019 was arrested by the National Police on September 12th in Montel\u00edbano.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During the preliminary hearings, the defendant denied his responsibility for the charges brought against him by the Office of the Attorney General. A prison sentence was issued by the judge.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
