The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted Maricel Ocampo Vargas for her alleged responsibility for trafficking, manufacturing, or possession of drugs. The defendant did not plead guilty to the charges.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The incident\u00a0under investigation occurred on September 15th on a public street in the Caracol\u00ed neighborhood of Cartago (Valle del Cauca) when National Police officers arrested her in flagrante, in posession of 23 packages of marijuana. The net weight of the substance was 11.5 kilos.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The judge ordered the defendant to serve a prison sentence at the request of a prosecutor appointed to the branch office in Valle del Cauca (Seccional Valle del Cauca) <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
