Jason Steven S\u00e1nchez Ceballos, alleged member of the self-proclaimed first front of FARC dissidents, is also allegedly involved in extortion and other criminal activities.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Attorney General’s Office obtained evidence indicating the possible responsibility of Jason Steven S\u00e1nchez Ceballos, alias Grillo, in the transport of drones and communications equipment to commit terrorist attacks against the civilian population and security forces in the eastern part of the country.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This alleged member of the self-proclaimed first front of the FARC dissidents is also accused of searching for and gathering information related to the movements and routines of the targets of the attacks.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He is also allegedly involved in other illicit activities such as firearms trafficking and extortion from merchants, cattle breeders, and drivers in Guaviare, Vaup\u00e9s, Guain\u00eda, and Meta.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, he was arrested in operations carried out with DIJIN-National Police in Granada (Meta).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A female prosecutor appointed to the Directorate specialized against Criminal Organizations charged him with aggravated conspiracy to commit terrorism and extortion; and manufacturing, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts, or ammunition.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

S\u00e1nchez Ceballos did not plead guilty to the charges and must serve a prison sentence according to the\u00a0judge\u00b4s decision. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
