A prosecutor appointed to the <\/span>Center for Assistance of victims of Domestic Violence (Centro de Atenci\u00f3n Integral a V\u00edctimas de Violencia Intrafamiliar (CAVIF in Spanish)\u202f<\/span>brought a man before a judge in Pasto (Nari\u00f1o) and charged him as the alleged perpetrator of domestic violence.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the investigation, on March 21, 2025, the victim who was the defendant’s sentimental partner, denounced her husband for verbal and physical attacks, the latter apparently using\u00a0a fork.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On September 3, the man returned to the home where he allegedly hit the victim on various parts of her body. As a result of the attack, the woman was hospitalized.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

CTI officers, in coordination with National Police officers, arrestred\u00a0the alleged attacker near the so-called Plaza del Carnaval by virtue of a court order. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During the hearings, the man did not plead guilty to the charges. The judge in the case sentenced the defendant to prison.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
