At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge ordered a prison sentence against Carlos Restrepo Pulido, Wilfredo L\u00f3pez Moreno, and Venezuelan citizen Luis Gerardo Tovar Ca\u00f1izalez, for being alleged dealers in the Trinidad neighborhood in Medell\u00edn.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In a search warrant conducted by the Technical Investigation Corps<\/span> (<\/span>Cuerpo T\u00e9cnico de Investigaci\u00f3n CTI)<\/span>, three suspects were arrested in a building with multiple entrances and with an armored door, apparently to try to prevent authorities from entering and evade <\/span>legal proceedings.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During the operation, 734 grams of marijuana, two cell phones, $220,000 in cash, and accounting records relating to the alleged sale of hallucinogens were seized.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to information obtained by the Anti-Narcotics and Special Tasks Group of CTI, the property was allegedly used for the storage and distribution of narcotics for sale. Furthermore, the house was allegedly used for meetings between members of a criminal organization operating in the area.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The defendants did not plead guilty to\u00a0the charges brought by a prosecutor from the Immediate Reaction Unit (<\/span>Unidad de Reacci\u00f3n Inmediata<\/span> URI) such as manufacturing, trafficking, or possession of narcotics and illicit use of real state and personal property.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
