The Attorney General’s Office brought nine alleged members of the Los Urbanos criminal group before a judge in Tulu\u00e1 (Valle del Cauca). They are accused of multiple crimes committed in La Balastrera area.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The people involved are <\/span>Jes\u00fas Antony D\u00edaz Gonz\u00e1lez, Frank Leonel Indriago Rojas, Angie Emperatriz Escobar Dom\u00ednguez, Nicol Dayana Roncer\u00eda, Y\u00e9sica Coromoto Abreu Berm\u00fadez, Andr\u00e9s Alonso Arce Bandera, Leidy Johana Roncer\u00eda, Johan Alberto Rojas Ospina and Kevin Andr\u00e9s Mesa Perdomo<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A prosecutor appointed to the branch office in Valle del Cauca (Seccional Valle del Cauca) charged the defendants for being allegedly responsible for the crimes of aggravated criminal conspiracy to commit a crime; forced disappearance; manufacturing, trafficking, and possession of firearms or ammunition; forced displacement; aggravated theft; manufacturing, trafficking, and possession of restricted-use weapons, ammunition for the exclusive use of the armed forces, or explosives; terrorism; use of minors in the commission of crimes; homicide; and attempted homicide.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The defendants are allegedly responsible for at least 11 criminal acts that occurred between September 2024 and the current year. One of the cases is related to the kidnapping of two people in the rural area of Bugalagrande, which occurred on February 5. The victims were apparently taken to the La Balastrera sector, where they were tortured and their corpses dismembered to disappear them.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Among the homicides attributed to this criminal network is that of a minor, as well as attacks with explosives, thefts, and petty drug dealing, among others.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The defendants were arrested by the National Police during 14 home searches operations carried out in La Inmaculada and Villacolombia neighborhoods and in La Balastrera neighborhood. The defendants must serve\u00a0a prison sentence.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
