The\u00a0Prosecutor’s\u00a0Office in Tolima, through a branch office assigned to the Support Structure group (<\/span>Estructura de Apoyo),<\/span> charged a man who was arrested in flagrante delicto with several grams of narcotics in a property in Ambalema (Tolima)\u00a0with trafficking, manufacturing, or possession of narcotics, and illicit use of personal property or real estate.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The defendant was Edison Alex\u00e1nder Reyes Hern\u00e1ndez, who w<\/span>as found by t<\/span>he National Police during a search warrant carried out in\u00a0La Esperanza neighborhood of the aforementioned municipality in Tolima in which\u00a0243 doses of bazuco, 40 doses of marijuana, and 108 doses of cocaine base were discovered. A cell phone and cash apparently derived from the sale of hallucinogenic substances were also seized.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The narcotics were buried in the property’s yard and in other places, such as water and energy meters, to avoid being detected by authorities.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the evidence obtained by the Office of the Attorney General, Reyes Hern\u00e1ndez, 29, was allegedly responsible for selling narcotics in that neighborhood through home deliveries and in fixed locations.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The defendant did not plead guilty to the charges and was sent to prison while the investigation moves forward.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
