The evidence collected by the Attorney General’s Office led to the prosecution of Jehiber Mena Renter\u00eda, Jos\u00e9 Marlon Riascos Angulo, Luis Ferney Arboleda Albornoz and Cristino Viveros Posso, who were allegedly found in possession\u00a0of firearms and explosives for private use in Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, they were charged with manufacturing, trafficking, and possession of firearms for private use restricted to the Armed Forces or explosives; and manufacturing, trafficking, or possession of firearms, accessories, parts, or ammunition.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On June 30, they were found in possession of the elements by officers from Gaula\u00a0of Police, Gaula of Army, and National Navy, near a school in Juanchaco.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During the proceedings, two firearms, ammunition modified\u00a0for greater lethality, three grenades, two cell phones, and cash were seized.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The defendants did not plead guilty to the charges in the hearings and by order of a\u00a0judge they were sent to prison.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
