They are allegedly involved in four murders, including that of a minor who was dismembered and abandoned on a public street.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

The evidence collected by the Attorney General’s Office revealed the actions of a criminal group known as Los Magos, which is accused of committing selective killings and local drug trafficking in Guadalajara de Buga (Valle del Cauca).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the investigation, ‘Los Magos’ are allegedly responsible for at least four homicides that took place between January and April of this year. One of the victims was a 17-year-old girl, whose body was dismembered and found on a public street in Buga.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The evidence shows that,\u00a0they had been carrying out local drug trafficking activities since September 2024 to finance their illicit activities in this area of the country.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The judicial activities carried out by the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI) and\u00a0Sij\u00edn of the National Police show that the criminal activities were ordered from prisons.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In this regard, a prosecutor appointed to the branch office in Valle del Cauca (Seccional Valle del Cauca) charged them, according to their individual responsibilities with conspiracy to commit a crime and homicide, both aggravated offenses;\u00a0and manufacturing, trafficking, or possession of firearms, accessories, parts, or ammunition; trafficking, manufacturing, or possession of narcotics; and receiving stolen property.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The defendants did not plead guilty to the charges in the hearings, and according to the\u00a0judge’s\u00a0decision, they must serve a prison sentence.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The defendants were identified as: <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Luis Fernando Tintinago Due\u00f1as, Aydee Bustos Arateco, Juan Diego Berm\u00fadez Blanco, alias Orejas; Carlos Alberto Tenorio V\u00e9lez, alias Cabez\u00f3n; Juan David Hern\u00e1ndez Mar\u00edn, Yenni Lorena Arce V\u00e9lez, Oswaldo Enrique Salazar, Jersor Esneider Guti\u00e9rrez Giraldo, alias Jer; Juan Carlos Escobar Hoyos, alias Muelas; Saray Lorena Arce V\u00e9lez and Valentina R\u00edos G\u00f3mez, alias La Gorda.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span> \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The 11 defendants were arrested in seven search warrants conducted in Alto Bonito and La Revoluci\u00f3n neighborhoods in\u00a0Buga. During the operations, 8 cell phones, 30 doses of cocaine, 96 liquor containers, 54 stamps, and 50 security seals were seized.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
