The defendant is allegedly linked to the installation of a cylinder bomb on a national road in Valle del Cauca.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

The evidence collected by the Attorney General’s Office and presented before a judge in Cali (Valle del Cauca) led to the arrest of Jhon Deiby D\u00edaz Rodallega, alias Calvin Rodr\u00edguez, as the alleged responsible for the commission of the crimes of conspiracy to commit terrorism and terrorism.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the investigation, the defendant was part of the so-called Ricardo Vel\u00e1squez mobile column of Jaime Mart\u00ednez front of FARC dissidents operating in Valle del Cauca since June 2024.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This person would be responsible for monitoring activities carried out by the Security Forces, in addition to coordinating the sale of narcotics in different areas of the department.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He is also believed to be responsible for carrying out terrorist actions in Buenaventura, Jamund\u00ed, Cali, and Dagua (Valle del Cauca). On March 26, he allegedly\u00a0installed a 40-pound cylinder bomb on the road connecting the municipalities of Jamund\u00ed and Su\u00e1rez (Cauca). The explosive device was activated under controlled conditions by the National Army.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

D\u00edaz Rodallega was arrested on June 29 during a home search carried out home in the rural area of Timba, Buenos Aires (Cauca). A cell phone was seized during the operation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During the hearings, the defendant did not plead guilty to the charges brought against him.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
