The Attorney General, Luz Adriana Camargo Garz\u00f3n, and representatives of the institution’s negotiating team signed an agreement with six union organizations, which includes 117 commitments aimed at improving working, educational, health, and well-being conditions of public servants.<\/span><\/p>\n

The signatory unions were Asonal Judicial Sindicato de Industria, Asonal Judicial, UniserCTI, Sintrafiscal\u00eda, Sintrafisgeneral, <\/em>and Unitraj<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI believe the work done by the negotiating teams is remarkable. The negotiation was carried out with a reasonable margin for listening, dialogue, and proactive dialogue\u201d, stated the Attorney General.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among the agreements reached by the institution and the unions are:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Technical studies of staff: <\/b>Within the next year, the Attorney General’s Office will conduct an analysis of the staff in all areas, which will determine the public servants\u2019 current needs in order to solve, among other issues, work overload and backlog in offices.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Recognition of seniority: <\/b>Public servants will receive progressive paid leave for every five-year period. That is, for five years, one day; upon reaching 10 years, two days; and for 15 years and from this moment on, up to three paid days off.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • More family time:<\/b> Two annual family days for public servants became institutionalized. Workers on individual holidays regime will also be allowed to compensate for Holy Week, and four working days of paid leave will be granted to public servants who get married.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Flexibility:<\/b> The agreement establishes that, in exceptional cases, the Office of the Attorney General will consider alternatives for flexible working hours and modalities, whether virtual or in-person, without affecting service in the different branch offices.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Mental Health:<\/b> A psychosocial support line will be established for public servants affected by work harassment, stress, or emotional distress.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Training: <\/b>The Directorate of Higher Studies will certify the training provided as informal education, which will be taken into account in all admission and promotion contests conducted by the Office of the Attorney General. In addition, skills reinforcement programs in various areas will be conducted.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Measures against harassment and discrimination:<\/b> The policy of respect, harassment prevention, and non-discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity will be strengthened.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Entrepreneurship Fair:<\/b> Biannual meetings will be scheduled for public servants and their families in order for them to present innovative projects and products.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    In addition, agreements with airlines and travel agencies to provide benefits to the public servants will be reached, and the creation of a complementary collective health plan will be contemplated.<\/span><\/p>\n
