The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted seven alleged members of the criminal group known as Los Norte\u00f1os for their alleged responsibility in the crimes of criminal conspiracy to commit a crime; trafficking, manufacturing, or possession of narcotics; and manufacturing, trafficking, or possession of firearms, accessories, parts, or ammunition.<\/span><\/p>\n

A prosecutor appointed to the Anti-Narcotics Unit of the branch office in Tolima (Seccional Tolima) revealed that, since last January, “Los Norte\u00f1os” were apparently storing and selling marijuana cigarettes (petty drug dealing) in Ibagu\u00e9 (Tolima).<\/span><\/p>\n

The evidence indicates that the drugs were concealed in Las Delicias neighborhood, and the illicit activity extended to the areas of Ciruelos, Ambal\u00e1, and Ibagu\u00e9 2000 in <\/span>Comuna 6<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

National Police officers carried out several search warrants at different locations of the city, and they arrested Jefferson Gonz\u00e1lez Ram\u00edrez, Santiago Coronado M\u00e9ndez, Jorge Andr\u00e9s Guevara Barrag\u00e1n, Jan Leonardo Carvajal Oyola, Jailer Alirio Cruz P\u00e9rez, Wilmer Andrey Torres Amaya y Keduim Estiven Guzm\u00e1n Ram\u00edrez. The defendants did not plead guilty to the charges brought by the Office of the Attorney General.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During the operations, 10\u00a0 cartridges (<\/span>9mm), cocaine, synthetic substances, and cash were seized.<\/p>\n

A judge ordered a prison sentence on the seven defendants.<\/span><\/p>\n
