The first incident occurred in Chiquinquir\u00e1 neighborhood in Valle de San Jos\u00e9 on May 2, when, in the midst of an argument, Eduin Jes\u00fas Ruiz Parra allegedly attacked his partner with a sharp weapon, causing him serious injures. He also allegedly threatened him to death.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The second case took place in Hoyo Chiquito neighborhood in Piedecuesta. There, Humberto Salas Cala arrived at his former partner&#8217;s home to demand payment of interests on money he had lent her. The woman and her son, who were there, were locked inside the property and threatened with death with a knife.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In both cases, the defendants were arrested in fragrante by the National Police.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">None pleaded guilty to the charges brought against them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The information contained in this press release corresponds to the narration of the objective news provided by the officials in charge of carrying out criminal investigations within the Office of the Attorney General.
