The evidence presented by the Attorney General’s Office led to the prosecution of Ana Milena Aroca D\u00e1vila, alias La Mona, and Deisy Yolima Meneses Aroca, alias La Flaca, alleged members of ‘Clan del Golfo’ who allegedly carried out logistical support activities for the illegal group in the urban area of \u200b\u200bBuenaventura and Bajo Calima area.<\/span><\/p>\n

A specialized prosecutor in Buenaventura charged them with aggravated criminal conspiracy. The defendants did not plead guilty to the charges, and a judge sent them to prison.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the investigation, the women were allegedly connected with \u2018Clan del Golfo\u2019 since 2023 and transported weapons, ammunition, explosives, military equipment, and communication radios for other members of this criminal organization.<\/span><\/p>\n

They were also allegedly responsible for providing information to leaders of this organization in Bajo Calima regarding the movements of members of public force, as well as operations carried out by the National Police in the port of Buenaventura.<\/span><\/p>\n

Both women were arrested in Jamund\u00ed (Valle del Cauca) by the National Police’s Special Operations Group (Grupo Especial de Operaciones GOES) and soldiers from the Army’s Special Forces.<\/span><\/p>\n

By virtue of a judge’s decision, they were transferred to a prison in Buga (Valle).<\/span><\/p>\n
