Resorting to trickery of a fake job offer, the victim was taken to a wooded area, where she was attacked with a sharp weapon.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

The evidence collected by the Attorney General’s Office led to the prosecution of two men accused of participating in the murder of a 19-year-old woman. The facts occurred on March 8 in a wooded area of \u200b\u200bIbagu\u00e9 (Tolima).<\/span><\/p>\n

The people involved are Brandon Andr\u00e9s Archila, 21, and Santiago Hurtado Gonz\u00e1lez, 19, who were charged with aggravated femicide by a prosecutor from the Immediate Reaction Unit (<\/span>Unidad de Reacci\u00f3n Inmediata <\/span>URI). They did not plead guilty to charges.<\/span><\/p>\n

The defendants were arrested by the Technical Investigation Corps (<\/span>Cuerpo T\u00e9cnico de Investigaci\u00f3n <\/span>CTI in spanish) and Sij\u00edn (Sijin) of the National Police during simultaneous operations carried out in the Kennedy Central neighborhood in Bogot\u00e1 and El Jord\u00e1n sector of Ibagu\u00e9 (Tolima).<\/span><\/p>\n

Investigative activities carried out by CTI determined that the suspects contacted the victim through a social media platform with a false job offer.<\/span><\/p>\n

On March 7, the woman was called to a meeting in Arroyuelos neighborhood. It is believed that Archila and Hurtado took her to a wooded area, where she was attacked multiple times with a knife. After the crime, the alleged perpetrators changed their clothes and fled the area. The body was found the next day.<\/span><\/p>\n

The judge sent the defendants to prison.<\/span><\/p>\n
