None of the defendants pleaded guilty to the charges.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the investigation, on October 7, 2023, several men who were riding on a motorcycle and a truck, apparently, threatened the victim with a firearm and took him against his will when he was intercepted in<em> Alto de los Muertos<\/em>, which is located between Segovia and Remedios (Antioquia).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Three hours later, the merchant was released, after his family paid a large sum of money for his release. It was also demonstrated that the kidnappers seized jewelry and cash from the victim during the kidnapping.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The information contained in this press release corresponds to the narration of the objective news provided by the officials in charge of carrying out criminal investigations within the Office of the Attorney General.
