They are Jos\u00e9 Alejandro Cort\u00e9s Ontib\u00f3n, alias Veneno, alleged leader of the criminal group; his mother Claudia Susana Ontib\u00f3n S\u00e1nchez, Melisa Franco Ch\u00e1vez and Jhon Jaider Barrios Lozano.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These people were brought before a judge and were charged, according to their individual responsibilities, with conspiracy to commit crimes for the purposes of drug trafficking; trafficking, manufacture and possession of narcotics and illegal manufacture, trafficking or possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The defendants did not plead guilty to the charges and must serve a prison sentence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Claudia Susana Ontib\u00f3n S\u00e1nchez would be in charge of preparing doses, packaging and distributing the narcotics with Franco Chaves. For his part, Barrios Lozano, apparently, was the one who sold them, in addition to providing security to prevent the entry of other groups.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the proceedings, a 38 caliber revolver, cartridges of different calibers, cell phones and several doses of marijuana were seized.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The information contained in this press release corresponds to the narration of the objective news provided by the officials in charge of carrying out criminal investigations within the Office of the Attorney General.
