They are allegedly responsible for sending text messages to a merchant in Soacha (Cundinamarca) asking for the payment of more than 2,000,000 COP.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The facts took place last January when <strong>the individuals allegedly identified themselves as members of Clan del Golfo.<\/strong> If victims refused to pay, they were warned about the possibility that they and their family and workers would be killed, and the commercial premises would be burned.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Office of the Attorney General charged the defendants, according to their individual responsibilities, with aggravated extortion and stolen vehicles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Attorney General&#8217;s Office and Gaula of Police in Cundinamarca, conducted a controlled delivery of money on the roads of Cundinamarca, and achieved the arrest of the defendants in flagrante delicto.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">None pleaded guilty to the charges. At the request of the Office of the Attorney General, the three men were deprived of their liberty in a prison.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The information contained in this press release corresponds to the narration of the objective news provided by the officials in charge of carrying out criminal investigations within the Office of the Attorney General.
