{"id":43623,"date":"2025-02-04T10:50:50","date_gmt":"2025-02-04T15:50:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=43623"},"modified":"2025-02-04T16:39:03","modified_gmt":"2025-02-04T21:39:03","slug":"eight-alleged-members-of-a-criminal-group-involved-in-local-drug-trafficking-in-pasto-were-prosecuted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2025\/02\/04\/eight-alleged-members-of-a-criminal-group-involved-in-local-drug-trafficking-in-pasto-were-prosecuted\/","title":{"rendered":"Eight alleged members of a criminal group involved in local drug trafficking in Pasto were prosecuted"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The evidence collected by the <strong>Attorney General&#8217;s Office allowed the prosecution of eight alleged members of the criminal group called &#8216;Los Hoteleros&#8217; who would be involved in drug dealing in Pasto (Nari\u00f1o).<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The people involved are Edison Maso Hincapi\u00e9, Carlos Andr\u00e9s Calpa, Cindy Carolina Gonz\u00e1lez Luna, Danny Segundo Pastas Santacruz, Kevin Esteban Obando Pati\u00f1o, Miguel Eduardo Acosta Ante, Danny Alexander Ordo\u00f1ez Meneses and Manuel Antonio Qui\u00f1onez Land\u00e1zuri who were charged by a prosecutor of the Support Structure (Estructura de Apoyo EDA) for the crime of manufacturing, trafficking and possession of narcotics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the investigation, <strong>these people apparently used a hotel as a facade in El Progreso neighborhood for the sale and consumption of different kinds of narcotics.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These people were arrested in a home search carried out by Sij\u00edn of Police. During the operation, doses of marijuana, cocaine and bazuco ready to be sold were seized.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Six of the defendants were sentenced to prison. For their part, Maso Hincapi\u00e9 and Calpa will continue to be linked to the investigation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The information contained in this press release corresponds to the narration of the objective news provided by the officials in charge of carrying out criminal investigations within the Office of the Attorney General.
