The Attorney General’s Office brought\u00a0<\/span>four men to justice, who would be involved in arms trafficking in C\u00facuta and Oca\u00f1a (Norte de Santander).<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of the investigated individuals is Ezequiel Pinz\u00f3n P\u00e9rez, who was arrested in Oca\u00f1a, on January 22 by the Police and the National Army, when he was moving in a van.<\/strong> The alleged perpetrator was found in possession of a pistol, three magazines, ammunition and five cell phones.<\/span><\/p>\n

The other defendant is Johan Hern\u00e1n Mart\u00ednez Romero, who was arrested by the National Police in C\u00facuta, when, apparently, he was in possession of ammunition, two fragmentation grenades, two pistols with scope and a silencer.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, in a home search carried out at Callej\u00f3n Garc\u00eda neighborhood in C\u00facuta, Yenderson Omar Ni\u00f1o M\u00e1rquez and Iv\u00e1n Dar\u00edo Meneses Castilla were arrested in flagrante.<\/strong> In the operation, a revolver with five cartridges was seized from them.<\/span><\/p>\n

The four defendants were charged with manufacturing, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition; and manufacturing, trafficking and possession of weapons, ammunition for restricted use, for the exclusive use of the armed forces or explosives.<\/span><\/p>\n

Preventive detention measures in prison were issued for three of the arrested men. For his part, Iv\u00e1n Dar\u00edo Meneses Castilla will remain linked to the investigation.<\/span><\/p>\n
