Johan Michael Garc\u00eda Rojas, alias Gallina, is accused of trafficking arms and narcotics from Colombia to Aragua (Venezuela).<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

The joint action of the Attorney General’s Office and the DIJIN of the National Police allowed to know the whereabouts of Johan Michael Garc\u00eda Rojas, alias Gallina, one of the alleged top leaders of the criminal group ‘Tren de Aragua’, who was wanted through an Interpol’s Red Notice in response to a request from the Venezuelan justice system which considers him responsible for trafficking drugs and psychotropic substances, criminal association, trafficking arms and ammunition, and financing terrorism.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Venezuelan citizen was arrested in a building in Cali (Valle del Cauca). Likewise, two cell phones, a diary and financial documents relevant to the investigations were seized d<\/span>uring a procedure.<\/p>\n

According to the process conducted by the Venezuelan authorities, alias Gallina would be the main supplier of firearms for the illegal structure and the coordinator of the shipment of drug shipments from Colombia to the state of Aragua (Venezuela).<\/span><\/p>\n

Also, he would be involved in migrant smuggling through special vehicles from the border area of \u200b\u200bNorte de Santander to Nari\u00f1o, and their subsequent pass through the Ecuadorian territory.<\/span><\/p>\n

Johan Michael Garc\u00eda Rojas will remain at the disposal of the Attorney General’s Office while the legal and diplomatic procedures for his transfer to Venezuela are completed.<\/span><\/p>\n
