A canine from the National Police alerted, so his luggage was inspected by National Police officers. During the inspection, nearly one kilogram of cocaine hydrochloride was found hidden in the insoles of four pairs of tennis shoes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On May 21, Osorio Rend\u00f3n, 54, was sentenced in first instance. This decision was appealed at the time by the defense. The Superior Court of Antioquia confirmed the Office of the Attorney General\u2019s reasoning and stated that the analyses carried out on the narcotic tested positive results for cocaine. In this regard, it emphasized that the way in which the illicit substance was hidden showed that it was going to be used for sale and distribution in Spain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The information contained in this press release corresponds to the narration of the objective news provided by the officials in charge of carrying out criminal investigations within the Office of the Attorney General.
